Your Home is Your Environment
...Your Home Environment: all items within the walls of your home (everything you can see, touch, hear, smell, or taste) ...Your own ideal home environment should be your sanctuary. According to Wm. Morris, you should have nothing but what you feel to be beautiful or necessary. I would add; "Whatever you feel to be pleasing to your senses."

| "Maggie;" Artist's Pet Portrait |
|
|
"Maggie Mae" (1990-2004) Mosaic portrait of my beloved companion This portrait is my tribute to Maggie; the golden retriever who kept me company during my entire battle with breast cancer.
I used my favorite photo (shown below), giving her a younger, less gray coat. I drew her likeness on plywood, then using dish and glass shards, I filled in the details, gluing them into place as I went. I hand-colored 5 shades of grout; to fill gaps between shards, shade, highlight and stabilize my mosaic work of art.
I wasn't sure if I could do her justice...especially her expressive eyes; but I'm very proud of the result, which is still my personal favorite. Custom Ordered and Created. Price based on size.

" Maggie Mae " (Photo Used for Mosaic Pet Portrait) If you would like to have more information about a mosaic interpretation of your pet, and appreciate the example of my dog's portrait, I'd be honored if you'd like to contact me by phone or computer. The process is not immediate, easy or cheap. It is intricate and complex, but I take great pride in doing my very best work. I'd need 8 weeks to complete your portrait, but nothing would be more rewarding!
