Faux Mosaic Studio Floor
Marty's plywood studio floor looked pretty bad. She needed to create something inspirational, so what better than a painted floor that looked like mosaic tiles? She drew a 5' x 8' rectangle on the ply-wood and painted it gray to simulate grout. Then, painting in each little "tile" with a paintbrush, she created her faux mosaic floor, bordered it with blue and gave it a few coats of polurethane varnish. Perfect!

Little Bo Peep
Bo Peep's sheep are running around the corner past Humpty Dumpty's wall next-door, in a 16th century country landscape full of familiar childhood Nursery Rhyme characters. Some of the sheep are running toward Mr. Dumpty's wall, and the rest are escaping in the other direction toward the corner shoe-house. A nice old woman lives there with many, many children.

Twinkle Little Star
The top half of Kenison's bedroom has been changed into a rural 16th century, English landscape which wraps the countryside all the way around the room, and Nursery Rhymes are depicted as 6 neighboring farms. A little girl wishes upon a star. The big wishing star has pearlized paint, while all of the little stars glow in the dark.

The Old Woman in the Show
Here you see where Bo Peep's sheep are running--to the corner neighbor's house, where a very nice old lady lives in a huge shoe with all of her many of children! The sun is setting (so that the artist can conveniently paint the transition from the day-time vignettes ("Miss Muffet," "Humpty Dumpty," and "Little Bo Peep"), to the night ("Twinkle Little Star," and "The Cow Who Jumped over the Moon").
