Master Mosaic Artist Marty Bosma
About the artist....

Mosaics combines so much of what I've
always loved ...colored glass in the
sunshine, beautiful stones, shells on the
beach, tiles from all over the world,
gemstones, ceramics, the list is endless!

I have been a fine artist for over 20 years
and immersed in the fine arts, my entire
life. I decided to specialize in the most natural, the most inspired and the most
successful of my abilities.

Mosaics won out. I began to branch out, inventing methods and materials that
were said to be incorrect.

WhatEVER.  If they work, who cares?

Suddenly, I saw everything in two categories:
1). a base (on which I could glue and
          grout "stuff").
2). the "stuff " (whatever I found that
could be glued onto a base).

Little material was ever safe from my "applications;" if it was, it wasn't safe from
being cemented into a mold.

Many art shows, exhibits, shops and "online presences" later, mosaic materials  (the
"stuff" I mentioned above), had become the "in" material! We now use the green,
eco-friendly, natural, old, and broken materials because it's good for the planet. Use
judiciously, whatever is already here, before creating extra "stuff" to clutter up the planet.

I thank God dearly for my blessings...my ability, my friends and most of all, my family. Without their support I never would have had the nerve to take the first step.
